    ETHIOPIA!

Why its taken me a whole year to get around to this ive no idea, but finally retouched these shots from Ethiopia. Last February i flew out to Addis with my good friend Sam Barker to help him shoot a series on the tribes of the Omo Valley. i decided to head out and shoot some locals in the towns we passed through during the night, wanting to work with ambient and practicals was a fun challenge, and im really happy with the shots…

Some lovely portraits in here, also love the skin tones, we the people who are darker than blue…

  2. I’ve spent a bit of time looking at sleek, titanium, carbon, stainless steel EveryDay Carries. Sublime, burnished, patinaed pocket dumps of expensive well thought out items that will get you through the forthcoming zombie apocalypse. Mine isn’t like that. Mine is what will keep me writing and moving. Some are worn, some live in my pockets, others are kept in the bag. All come with me at all times.

  3. Some graffiti I saw under a bridge on the way from Bons En Chablais to Geneva. If memory serves it was still on the french side of the border. Have no idea who the artist was/is, but was delighted to see it..

  7. Analog Summer Volume 2:

Got hold of some old E6 35mm stock, and a friends rangefinder and took myself off around London shooting whatever took my fancy, which turned out mostly to be the people I hang out with on a regular and irregular basis.

Marking time till summertime comes round again

  8. Analog Summer:

Got the chance to head out to Geneva for the World Hardcourt Bike Polo Championship. Good Times!

Also took the 35mm rangefinder and took some E6 shots. Felt weird being all manual, all the time, and not knowing what the shot looked like immediately after taking it. Took me six months to get these developed and scanned, and I’d forgotten I’d taken any of these. Memories come flooding back.

    Short Shorts Final!!!
