Shining some light on this Ramsey Lewis album with a redesign.
just found out about J Rochester’s redesigns of Jazz and Hip Hop album covers. They are brilliant, musings on how record covers, can be transformed into something different and ethereal. Amazing.
Thanks to this really inspiring blog for pointing me to them.. http://www.voicesofeastanglia.com/
Roni Size is exceptionally talented, and this tune just kills it….
Wet Plate photography writ large. Ian Ruhter goes old school analog, with his camera in a van, creating original, individual images.
Exquisite.
If we must die, let it be riding!
Always had the fear that I would lose my legs and not be able to walk, run, ride. But this short film fills me with hope, that no matter what my physical condition, riding a bike will always be possible.
718 Cyclery. Inverted Bike Shop.
I love bike shops..
Really nice Bike as Art film.
Individual bits of work in rideable form..

A NOTE CAN BE SMALL AS A PIN OR AS BIG AS THE WORLD, IT DEPENDS ON YOUR IMAGINATION.
WHATEVER YOU THINK CAN’T BE DONE, SOMEBODY WILL COME ALONG & DO IT. A GENIUS IS THE ONE MOST LIKE HIMSELF.

Same sample, still loving it.
Found out about this track from a friend being upset that Plan B’s - Ill Manors used the same sample. Hard to define what’s original/unique/creative when everything is available as source material..
Plan B - ill Manors.
Love that violin sample.
remember when it was all about how small your phone was? Now it’s all about if your phone isn’t big enough to be used by an elephant, your phone ain’t shit!
Nicely done though.
Reading is good for you. Shouldn’t be forgotten.
enjoying this tumblr, for the anguished descriptions, scathing put downs, and daily dose of musical interestingness…
Order of Chaos poster. An EDC of a film poster..

Love this track so much. Booming bassline, and Lady Mecca (Ladybug’s) last verse, just kills it.

Interesting use of aerial footage to a skate video, nice to get away from the wide angle followcam. Gives a great sense of distance travelled and the environments within which skaters get to play
